In Thursday's league match, the visiting Miller Grove Wolverines football squad scored a close 26-21 victory over the Southwest DeKalb Panthers.

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 match, on Friday, October 7. Miller Grove will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Golden Bears enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 15-14 league loss to Westminster (Atlanta, GA).
