September 29, 2022: Buchanan, VA 24066 In Thursday's non-league game, the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) football team got by the visiting Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), by a score of 28-26.
The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league game with a 3-3 record.
The Highlanders now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Giles for a non-league game on Monday, October 3. Glenvar will battle a Spartans team coming off a 52-33 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
