September 29, 2022: New Albany, OH 43054 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH) and the visiting Westland Cougars (Galloway, OH), saw New Albany's soccer squad triumph over Westland by a margin of 6-0.
The Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Mason for a non-league test on Friday, September 30. New Albany will meet a Comets squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, OH). The Comets record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Westland drops to 3-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH) to meet the Cougar in a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. The Cougar come into the test with a record of 6-3. Cristo Rey lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Madison Christian (Groveport, OH)
