September 29, 2022: Lyons, GA 30436 The Toombs County Bulldogs softball team (Lyons, GA), was tipped 4-3 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA)
Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, October 4. Appling County will attempt to improve on its 19-2 season record.
The Bulldogs (10-12) will now prepare for their test against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, East Laurens edged Dublin (Dublin, GA), 5-4, in a league test.
