September 29, 2022: Highland, MI 48357 The Milford Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Brandon Blackhawks to 0 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mavericks now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walled Lake Central for a Lakes Valley game on Thursday, October 6. Milford will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-13.
The Blackhawks (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Lake Fenton (Linden, MI). The Blue Devils enter the Flint Metro game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Lake Fenton dropped by Goodrich (Goodrich, MI), 3-2, in a league game.
