The Creede Miners volleyball team (Creede, CO), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Sangre de Cristo Thunderbirds (Mosca, CO)

The Thunderbirds (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO). The Panthers enter the 1A Southern Peaks challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Grande defeated Mountain Valley (Saguache, CO), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Miners meet the Antonito Trojans (Antonito, CO) in a 1A Southern Peaks challenge, on Friday, September 30. Creede will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sargent (Monte Vista, CO).
