McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars (Salem, SD) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Fighting Cougars battle the Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD) in a A Region 3 match, on Monday, October 3. McCook Central/Montrose will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 13-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD).

With the loss, Tri-Valley drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wagner (Wagner, SD) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league match on Saturday, October 1. The Red Raiders come into the match with a record of 17-2. Wagner won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Hanson (Alexandria, SD)
