In Friday's league match, the host Cambridge Trojans football squad scored a good 38-22 victory over the Alma Cardinals.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Cambridge will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 44-42 league loss to Hemingford (Hemingford, NE).
