Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the host Augusta Christian Lions (Martinez, GA), 42-10 in a league test.

With the win, Hammond improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Skyhawks host Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC) to confront the Cardinals in a SCISA AAAA test on Friday, October 6. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 6-0. Cardinal Newman won 49-0 in their recent non-league test against John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC)

With the loss, Augusta Christian moves to 3-4 on the season. The Lions host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to confront the Swampcats in a SCISA AAAA test on Friday, October 13. The Swampcats go into the test with a record of 4-2.
