September 29, 2023: Roswell, NM 88201 Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 57-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Goddard improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Trojans in a 5A District 4 test on Thursday, October 12. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-3.
With the loss, Belen drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Hornets in a 5A District 1/5 test on Friday, October 13. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-3.
