The Boron Bobcats football team (Boron, CA), was tipped 18-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA)

The Broncos (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against California City (California City, CA). The Ravens come into the High Desert challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, California City was tipped by Rosamond (Rosamond, CA), 48-7, in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert for a High Desert challenge on Friday, October 6. Boron will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 63-0 league loss to Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-5.
