The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions football team (Glendale, AZ), was beaten 58-37 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ)

The Jaguars (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the 6A Desert Valley challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, O'Connor achieved victory over Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ), 35-14, in a league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Vista for a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Friday, October 6. Mountain Ridge will meet a Monsoon team coming off a 41-14 non-league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Monsoon record now stands at 1-5.
