Texas High School Football - Wheeler routs Boys Ranch

The Wheeler Mustangs football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Boys Ranch Roughriders to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clarendon for a 2A-2 Region I District 2 battle on Friday, October 6. Wheeler will play a Broncos squad coming off a 44-21 non-league win over Tulia (Tulia, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Roughriders play the Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) in a 2A-2 Region I District 1 battle, on Friday, October 6. Boys Ranch will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Longhorns go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 52-21 non-league loss to Olton (Olton, TX).
