In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Corning Bobcats football squad scored a big 54-8 victory over the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 6. Corning will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 56-14 league win over Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR).

The Timberwolves (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats enter the Arkansas 8-Man - Large North (8 Man) match with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Marshall was trounced by Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 60-42, in a league test.
