Virginia High School Football - Massaponax held off by Colonial Forge
September 29, 2023: Spotsylvania, VA 22407 Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), 14-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Colonial Forge improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mountain View (Stafford, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a Commonwealth test on Friday, October 6. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-0. Mountain View won 27-21 in their recent league test against Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA)
With the loss, Massaponax drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to play the Black Hawks in a Commonwealth battle on Friday, October 6. The Black Hawks go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Brooke Point won 35-34 in their recent league battle against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)
