The Connellsville Falcons held off the host Hampton Talbots football team by a count of 28-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Connellsville upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Falcons host McKeesport (McKeesport, PA) to confront the Tigers in a WPIAL AAAA Big Seven outing on Friday, October 6. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 5-1. McKeesport won 48-0 in their recent league outing against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA)

With the loss, Hampton moves to 2-4 on the season. The Talbots host North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA) to confront the Trojans in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny outing on Friday, October 6. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 3-3. North Catholic lost 21-20 in their recent league outing against Armstrong (Kittanning, PA)
