New York High School Football - Cortland knocked off by Ithaca
September 29, 2023: Ithaca, NY 14850 Ithaca Little Red (Ithaca, NY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), 27-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ithaca improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Little Red travel to Whitney Point (Whitney Point, NY) to confront the Eagles in a Section 4 Freelance test on Saturday, October 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-2. Whitney Point won 20-0 in their recent non-league test against Montrose (Montrose, PA)
With the loss, Cortland drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Purple tigers host Oswego (Oswego, NY) to confront the Bucs in a Section 3 B - 2 test on Friday, October 6. The Bucs come into the test with a record of 0-5. Oswego lost 36-0 in their recent league test against South Jefferson (Adams, NY)
