Maine High School Football - Deering knocks off Falmouth
September 29, 2023: Portland, ME 04103 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Deering Rams (Portland, ME) and the visiting Falmouth Navigators (Falmouth, ME), observed Deering's football squad thwart Falmouth by a count of 13-0.
The Rams now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Massabesic for a B South contest on Friday, October 6. Deering will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-7 league loss to Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
Coming up next, the Navigators play the Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) in a B North contest, on Friday, October 6. Falmouth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 27-26 league loss to Cony (Augusta, ME).
