The Lone Pine Golden Eagles held off the visiting Desert Christian Knights football team by a final score of 52-46 in Friday's non-league test.

With the triumph, Lone Pine improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA) to confront the Falcons in a Hi-Lo (8 Man) test on Friday, October 6. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-0. Frazier Mountain won 66-20 in their recent league test against Mojave (Mojave, CA)

With the loss, Desert Christian drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA) to confront the Eagle in a non-league test on Friday, October 6.
