The Echo Cougars football team (Echo, OR), was beaten 46-26 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Wasco County Redsides (Maupin, OR)

The Redsides (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR). The Watchmen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Lewis Academy was beaten by Eddyville (Eddyville, OR), 47-0, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dayville/Monument/Long Creek for a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) challenge on Friday, October 6. Echo will meet a Tigers team coming off a 46-12 league loss to Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
