The Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) football routed the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 49-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) in a Big South 3A bout, on Friday, October 6. Kings Mountain will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Red Raiders enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 61-49 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).

The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies enter the Big South 3A bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Huss walloped Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 35-7, in a league bout.
