The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Galion Tigers (Galion, OH) and the visiting Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH), observed Galion's football squad edge Highland by a count of 23-21.

The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant for a Mid-Ohio outing on Friday, October 6. Galion will confront a Spartans team coming off a 45-14 league loss to Ontario (Mansfield, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Highland moves to 4-3 on the season. The Fighting scots host River Valley (Caledonia, OH) to confront the Vikings in a Mid-Ohio outing on Friday, October 6.
