The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) football overcame the host Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), 22-11 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, October 13. George Washington will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.

The Big Reds (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders enter the Mountain State bout with a 5-0 record.
