Texas High School Football - Midway topped by Harker Heights

The Midway Panthers football team (Waco, TX), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Harker Heights Knights (Harker Heights, TX)

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Hippos come into the 6A Region II District 12 challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Hutto was beaten by Midway (Waco, TX), 45-42, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temple for a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Friday, October 6. Midway will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 28-25 league loss to Weiss (Pflugerville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
