September 29, 2023: Metropolis, IL 62960 Herrin Tigers (Herrin, IL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), 48-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Herrin improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-2. Prairie Central won 32-0 in their recent league test against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL)
With the loss, Massac County drops to 0-2 on the campaign.
