The Nelson County Cardinals football team (Bardstown, KY), was tipped 14-10 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY)

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY). The Bearcats come into the 1A District 2 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Kentucky Country Day nipped Larue County (Hodgenville, KY), 49-26, in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bardstown for a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 13.
