In Friday's league game, the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) football team knocked off the host Marion Giants (Marion, IN), by a final score of 46-36.

The Bearcats (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Indians come into the North Central game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Anderson was dropped by Kokomo (Kokomo, IN), 52-14, in a league game.

The Giants now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lafayette Jefferson for a North Central game on Friday, October 6. Marion will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 34-22 league loss to McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Bronchos record now stands at 3-4.
