Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX), 48-10 in a league test.

With the triumph, Wortham improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Hico (Hico, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Hico lost 23-0 in their recent league test against Mart (Mart, TX)

With the loss, Meridian drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Dawson (Dawson, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A-2 Region III District 10 test on Friday, October 6. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-1. Dawson won 57-0 in their recent league test against Hubbard (Hubbard, TX)
