September 29, 2023: Woodsfield, OH 43793 Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH), 34-26 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Monroe Central improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Seminoles travel to Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to confront the Shamrocks in a Ohio Valley AAA test on Friday, October 6. The Shamrocks come into the test with a record of 7-0. With the loss, Shenandoah drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Zeps host River (Hannibal, OH) to confront the Pilots in a non-league test on Friday, October 6. The Pilots come into the test with a record of 4-2. River won 53-20 in their recent non-league test against Shadyside (Shadyside, OH)
