The University School of Jackson Bruins football team (Jackson, TN), was beaten 21-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS)

The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons come into the Division II-AA West challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, St. George's was beaten by Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 44-7, in a league challenge.

The Bruins now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Evangelical Christian for a Division II-AA West challenge on Friday, October 13. University School of Jackson will meet a Eagles team coming off a 45-0 league win over St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
