The Southampton Indians football team (Courtland, VA), was ripped 42-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA)

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes come into the Tri-Rivers challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Windsor was ripped by Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA), 35-0, in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brunswick for a Tri-Rivers challenge on Friday, October 6. Southampton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-0 league win over Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
