The Twin Springs Titans football team (Nickelsville, VA), was ripped 40-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA)

The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack come into the Mountain challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeview trounced Richlands (Richlands, VA), 34-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castlewood for a Cumberland challenge on Friday, October 6. Twin Springs will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 40-30 non-league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-5.
