September 29, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27205 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) and the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), saw Asheboro's soccer squad beat Southwestern Randolph by a count of 4-0.
The Blue Comets now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league test on Monday, October 2. Asheboro will meet a Black Knights squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Southwestern Randolph drops to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars host Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to meet the Villains in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 18. The Villains come into the test with a record of 0-7.
