September 29, 2023: Moline, IL 61265 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) and the visiting Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), saw Moline's soccer squad get by Normal West by a margin of 1-0.
The Maroons now sport a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Moline United for a Western Big 6 test on Tuesday, October 3. Moline will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Streator/Woodland (Streator, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Normal West drops to 7-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Pekin (Pekin, IL) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league test on Monday, October 2. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 2-8. Pekin won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Olympia (Stanford, IL)
