Washington High School Volleyball - Bush over Vashon Island
September 29, 2023: Seattle, WA 98112 Bush Blazers (Seattle, WA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Blazers clash with the Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound match, on Tuesday, October 3. Bush will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA).
With the loss, Vashon Island drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A Nisqually match on Monday, October 23. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 9-0.
