Virginia High School Volleyball - New Covenant over Grace Christian

September 29, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24501

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA), saw New Covenant's volleyball squad beat Grace Christian by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, New Covenant upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA) to play the Celtics in a VISAA Blue Ridge bout on Monday, October 2. The Celtics go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Roanoke Catholic lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)

The Warriors now own a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. Grace Christian will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA). The Bears record now stands at 6-3.
