September 29, 2023: Westlake, LA 70669 The Westlake Rams volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hammond Tornadoes to 1 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.
The Rams now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thibodaux for a non-league game on Friday, September 29. Westlake will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-12.
The Tornadoes (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Barbe nipped Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
