In Sunday's league match, the host Catholic Central Shamrocks football squad scored a good 31-14 victory over the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots.

The Shamrocks (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors enter the Catholic - Central match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Brother Rice thwarted St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH), 22-21, in a non-league match.
