September 29, 2025: Southbury, CT 06488 Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pomperaug moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Bears confront the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Thomaston will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
