South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), 28-26 in a non-league battle.

With the win, South Laurel improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cardinals host Corbin (Corbin, KY) to play the Redhounds in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Redhounds go into the battle with a record of 2-0.
