Illinois High School Soccer - Joliet West nudged by Oswego East
September 29, 2025: Oswego, IL 60543 Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oswego East advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a test on Thursday, October 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-7.
The Tigers now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet Central for a bout on Wednesday, October 1. Joliet West will play a Steelmen squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 10-4.
