Virginia High School Volleyball - Cumberland tips Monticello
September 29, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Cumberland Dukes volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Monticello Mustangs to 1 in the Dukes non-league triumph on Monday.
The Dukes now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Amelia County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. Cumberland will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Goochland nudged Orange County (Orange, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
