September 29, 2025: Dwight, IL 60420 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) and the visiting Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL), observed Dwight's volleyball squad nudge Somonauk by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Dwight improves its record to 11-10 on the season. The Trojans travel to Woodland (Streator, IL) to encounter the Warriors in a Tri-County battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 5-13. Woodland won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against DePue (DePue, IL)
Next, the Bobcats meet the LaMoille Lions (LaMoille, IL) in a Little Ten battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Somonauk will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-13 record after their 2-0 league loss to Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL).
