The Genoa Area Comets volleyball squad (Genoa, OH), dropped 3-1 in Monday's non-league battle with the host St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH)

With the win, St. Joseph Central Catholic improves its record to 15-3 on the season. The Crimson Streaks host Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH) to encounter the Chieftains in a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Chieftains enter the contest with a record of 6-10. Hopewell-Loudon lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Lakota (Kansas, OH)

Next, the Comets encounter the Otsego Knights (Tontogany, OH) in a Northern Buckeye battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Genoa Area will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fairview (Sherwood, OH).
