Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Hickory over New Castle
September 29, 2025: Hermitage, PA 16148 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Hickory Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the New Castle Hurricanes.
The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Mustangs go into the District 10 Region 3 test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Mercer achieved victory over Oil City (Oil City, PA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Hurricanes now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ambridge for a WPIAL 2A 1 challenge on Thursday, October 2.
