With the win, Malden improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Green Wave host East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to encounter the Eagles in a Class 2 District 1 battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 6-10. East Prairie lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Risco (Risco, MO)
The Indians now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sikeston for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. Puxico will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Portageville (Portageville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
