The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) and the visiting Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX), observed Bishop Lynch's football squad defeat Fort Worth Christian by a count of 41-21.

The Friars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X for a non-league contest on Friday, September 10. Bishop Lynch will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 31-6 non-league loss to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Cardinals encounter the Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles (Dallas, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 10. Fort Worth Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 28-14 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Addison, TX).
