The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA), observed Central Catholic's football squad bounce Penn Hills by a count of 48-7.

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pine-Richland for a non-league contest on Friday, September 10. Central Catholic will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 24-20 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 10. Penn Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
