In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Westfield Mustangs football squad scored a good 38-12 victory over the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 10. Westfield will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 34-7 non-league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX).

The Hurricanes (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Terry (Rosenberg, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A-1 Region III District 10 match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Terry thwarted Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX), 17-14, in a non-league match.
