September 3, 2021: Barre, VT 05641 In Friday's league match, the host Spaulding Crimson Tide football squad scored a close 20-14 victory over the Lyndon Institute Vikings.
In their next game, the Crimson Tide clash with the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 11. Spaulding will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 21-0 league loss to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT).
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Colonels enter the Division II match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Brattleboro was nudged by Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT), 36-7, in a league match.
